I’m physically exhausted after our first three days shooting, but feeling so satisfied this evening with my feet up. And so I found myself reflecting on great movie music and played this stunning soundtrack from beginning to end.

Of course it made me recall the film — the characters, the story. The love and the hate. Most of all, the profound sadness of choosing to erase someone from your mind.

The opening theme is an astonishing piece of work. The piano, the arrangement and mix just sweeps me up in the air. It’s an emotional tune, with highs and lows. And it has a whimsical quality at times. But most of all, it captures the strange, beautiful, devastating plight of Joel and Clementine. 💔
