As infectious as a song can get, this one has made many of my playlists over the years. I’m not exactly sure what it’s about, but it’s definitely for the outsiders and for the misfits.

I was in a drop-D metal band we called Requiem.

And the video is perfectly bizarre, which fits this snowy Sunday morning in May. ❄️ SPOON has another great record out called LUCIFER ON THE SOFA. I don’t know what the recipe is to keep great bands together and releasing music for 20 years — but this band from Austin figured it out. Never quite in the direct spotlight, but always on stage and staying relevant. We licensed METAL DETEKTOR back in 2009 for our CALVIN MARSHALL release. 🎬💿
